EX: Wontons= Asians
State 3 Examples of a “Kosher Diet”
-Jews must eat Kosher foods. (Meat and Dairy are separated by a 6-hour difference)
-Jews are restricted from eating pork
-Jews must eat foods deemed “kosher” (Blood has been drained, and no organs)
How do food customs evolve?

-When people move, they bring their food customs with them.
-However, food customs change because of circumstances such as different available resources and ingredients.

The speed at which your body digests foods and turns them into energy in order to perform basic human functions.
*Everyone’s metabolic rate differs due to the number of calories ingested and physical activity.
