Q

How do living things have air to breathe in the terrarium?

A

There is exchange of gases in the terrarium. The plants photosynthesise and give out oxygen. The animals take in the oxygen and give out carbon dioxide.

Q

How do living things have water in the terrarium?

A

The plants release water vapour to the surroundings when photosynthesising. Warm water vapour from the surrounding of the tank touches the cooler surface of the tank, loses heat and condenses into water droplets. Thus, the living things would sufficient supply of water.

Q

How do living things have food?

A

The plant photosynthesises and makes food for the plant. The animal eats the plant for food. In conclusion, the terrarium has the variable needed for living things to survive such as oxygen, water, food and sunlight

Q

What do decomposers do? (Example. bacteria, mushrooms, etc…)

A
