Religion: some religions are not allowed eat certain foods in their country

Availability: some foods are grown in certain foods in their country

Foods in season: some foods are only grown in a season

Advertising: encourages people to buy their foods

Personal like and dislike: some people like and dislike certain foods. By their taste buds on their toungue
