What are the different ways people get their food?
Some people buy from shops, stall.
Some people live on farms and grow their on food or keep animals as food.
Some people in cities grow some of their own food like vegetable gardens or fruit trees.
Other people are food collectors. They fish or hunt animals.
Where does most of our food come from?
From farms. Farmers produce the food we eat such as maize, meat, vegetables and eggs. We also eat fish from the sea or fresh water fish from dams and lakes.

Plants that people plant and grow to use.
Subsistence farmers
Farmers that grow crops and keep animals to feed themselves and their families.
Food collector
Someone who collects and eats food growing in the wild.they know what is good to eat and what is poisonous.
They pick berries, mushrooms and dig up roots.

Growing a specific crop in in certain area because of the climate.

What is the difference in large stock and small stock farming?
Large stock farmers farm large animals like cows.
Small stork farmers farm small animals like sheep and pigs.
