To test for starch
Use iodine on bread turns from brown to blue/black
To test for glucose (reducing sugar)
Add benedicts solution to lucozade, heat it. Turns from blue to brick red
To test for protein (biurnet test)
Add copper sulfate and sodium hydroxide to meat. Turns from blue to violet
To test for fat
Put brown paper onto oil. A translusent dot appears
