To test for starch
Use iodine on bread, turns from brown to blue/ balck
To test for glucose (reducing sugar)
Add Benedict’s solution to Lucozade, heat it. Turns from blue to brick red
To test for protein (Biuret test)
Add copper sulfate and sodium hydroxide (Biuret reagent) to meat. Turns from blue to violet
To test for fat
Put brown paper onto oil. A translucent dot appears
Convert chemical energy to food to heat energy.
Burn a crisp and it heats a rest tube of water

Liver and cabbage makes red blood cells
