A
- located on the right bank
- part of the prestigious classification St Emilion Grand Cru
- one of the oldest wine estate of the region, goes back to the 16th century with the first harvest in 1599

- the largest wine estate in St Em
- 58 ha (average size of vineyard 7ha)
- mosaic soils : gravels, clays, molasse multiple exposures –> true identity and complexity

2015 : excellent with easy conditions
hot spring and dry summer
grapes to the perfect maturity
rain at the end of summer –> grapes have breathe
–> concentrated wines with smooth tannins

- 95% Merlot
- 5% CF

V- Let’s taste
A
- very expressive nose : diversity of the terroirs
- mouth: baked berries, expressive fruits like plums, touches of spices
- tannins: soft but present –> roundness
- end quite lively with acidity
–> ready to drink but good potential to grow

- parcel selection accoridng to the grape variety, age of the vines and terroir
- aging for 18 months in new oak barrels, one year old barrels and state of the art ciment tanks
