- Vacating any previously assigned altitude
- Missed approach
- Change in the airspeed by five percent or ten knots
- The time and altitude reaching a holding fix or clearance limit
- When leaving any assigned holding fix or point.
- When unable to climb/descend at a rate of at least 500 ft./minute.
- Any loss of equipment
- Any information relating to the safety of flight (this includes a TCAS induced maneuver).
