At at least 30 min prior to arrival dispatcher forwards the most current wx.
Contingent Fuel carried.
All other pertainent wx sources considered.
Dest wx falls below mins requiring an alternate while enroute.
1) if wx is forecast 1 hr before eta to 1 hour after to be < 2000ft ceiling but > 1000ft and/or < 3sm but > 1sm and burn will not penetrate reserves, continue.
2) wx forecast < 1000ft or convective activity, add alternate airport.

Standard Eng fail take-off path
IMC: straight out till 1000ft then on the heading to to the navaid and hold. Climb to MSA. Vectors May be accepted above 1000ft.
VMC: straight ahead to 1000ft. Return visually or using IAP.
Simple special
IMC: mandatory. Turn below 1000ft. FRA 1000ft or as described in the procedure. If radar vectors are not available climb to 3000ft AFE before proceeding on course.
VMC: Mandatory till 1000ft
