Q

11-15 knot tailwind

A

-Line up on rnwy and apply brakes
-With AT disarmed, advance thrust to 60% N1.
-when engs stabilize at 60% N1:
1:release the brakes, arm AT and slowly advance both thrust levers to TOGA detention before 60 knots
OR:
2: Make sure the AT has advanced both thrust levers to TOGA detent before 60 knots.

Q

Static Takeoff

A

-Line up on runway, apply brakes and advance thrust levers to 40% N1. -When engs stabilize at 40% N1, advance thrust levers to TOGA detent. -Release the brakes when the takeoff thrust (N1 Target) is achieved.

Q

Engine Runup Procedure

A

-Apply brakes and advance thrust levers to 40%.
-Let engines stabilize and continue thrust lever advancement to approx 54% N1.
-Hold the selected thrust for 30 seconds or until fan vibration level returns to normal.
The Eng runup procedure may be performed in conjunction with final takeoff power settings.
