Use VS or ALT to intercept Glidepath

RNAV Approach Limits
A
Maximum Lateral Error (Track):
- MAP Mode: XTE .15nm (1/2 of Fullscale .3nm inside FF)
- FULL/ARC Mode: Half Scale
Maximum Vertical Error (Glidepath)
- Half scale above & below

What does the GPS INTEG annunciation mean?
A
It Means 1 of 2 things:
- The GPS receiver is receiving signals from less than 5 satelites (RAIM unavailable)
- GPS not NAV - Availablity
- The GPS signals sent to the receiver contain errors that cause the GPS certainty of position to be 2 large (Horizonatal Integrity Limits - HIL)
- Satelite POS Alarm - Accuracy

How many Satelites are required for RAIM?
A
- 5 Satelites
- 4 satelites to agree on a position; and
- the 5th Monitors the integrity by agreeing with the 4

When must RAIM be checked?
A
- The availability of RAIM at our destination must be checked prior to departure by either:
- NOTAM; or
- IFIS

How long is a RAIM forcast valid for?
A
- 72 hours (3 days)
