Edema (especially of the legs), high blood pressure, shortness of breath
What are some possible lab changes with dehydration?
BUN increases (> 20/1 BUN:SCr)
Na loss
K loss
What are some possible lab changes with reduced kidney function?
K increases
SCr increases
BUN increases
What is the the daily maintenance fluid requirements for adults?
30 - 35 cc/kg/day
