6. COMM: Manager -> Master ->Datalink Reset -> System: Tail #
7. ACARS/FMC: Initialize
Establish Electrical Power and Air Conditioning
- Battery: ON
- L/R Bus Tie: AUTO
- HYD Panel: All pumps off except L/R Primary Pumps
- LDG Gear: Down
- ALTN FLAPS: ALTN not displayed/OFF
- Radar: Verify/TEST
- Establish External or APU Power

2. FUEL Pumps: 4/6 ON (Center on if more than 10.5K B/C/300 or 7.5K A)
3. Doors: Verify Closed (including Flight Deck)
4. FUEL: Check (Captain Response)
5. Transponder: XPDR
-After Pushback Clearance Recieved
6. BEACON: ON
ENGINE START PROCEDURE
On Dry Ramp:
A/B: Start Both Simultaneously if Parking Brake Set
C/300: Start both engines one at a time (1 then 2)
1. EICAS: Recall/Cancel
2. ENG: Secondary Display
3. Start/Ignition Selector(s): START
4. Fuel Control switch(s): RUN
5. Engine Indications: Monitor (keep hand on Fuel Control until Oil Press after EGT rise)

5. Engine Anti-ice: Auto
6. Beacon: Off
7. Status Display: On
8. Transponder: STBY
ACARS FLOW (1 of 2)
- ACARS: Initialize (COMM-> COMPANY-> INITIALIZE)
- Active Database Check: INIT REF (Verify: Mod, Eng, Nav Data, Drag)
- POS INIT: Airport and Position (input, UTC, and match)
- RTE UPLINK: RTE (Load-Active-Execute)
- WIND: LEGS (RTE DATA->Request)
- WIND UPLINK: Load/Execute
- DES WINDS: LOAD (VNAV Pg 3/3)
- RWY/SID/TRANS: LOAD (DEP/ARR Pg)
- RTE: Verify Route (matches flight plan)
- PROG: Check Distance (matched flight plan)

- If initial cruise alt is FL 320 and below, manually enter (240, 300, 340, 390) .
If intial cruise alt is FL 330 and above, manually enter (300, 340, 390, 430)

- WIND DATA REQUEST: LS (LOAD then EXEC)

- LEGS: Verify entries (check discontinuites)

- PERF INIT: Enter Fuel Reserves and modify CG if 300 (25%)

- PERF INIT: Verify TOG, ZFW, CRZ ALT, Fuel Reserv, CI…then Accept.
- STEP SIZE: Enter 1000/2000 RVSM=2000 ICAO 4000
