Trigger= cabin ready report/all doors closed
Flight door- closed (switch guarded fail light out)
Probe heat- On (lights out)
Hyd panel- all pumps on, ele lights out, 2800 psi A/B/Brakes
Door/window closed- lights out, window closed.
Anti collision light- On

Engine Start
Packs- Off
ENG Start Switch- GND
At 25% N2 or at great than 20% with max motor (1% in 5 seconds)
Start lever- IDLE
Engine started at 56% N2 3AA-3PX Engine started at 63% N2 3RA-3VM -when started the following apply Eng start switch moves to auto Start valve alert extinguishes (5 secs) Oil pressure increases
Stable engine parameters
3AA-3PX
N1- 20%
EGT- 410c
N2- 59%
Fuel Flow- 600lbs/Hr
3RA-3VM
N1- 21%
EGT- 485c
N2- 71%
Fuel Flow- 630lbs/Hr
After start flow
Trigger= after engine stabilized (either once for two engine or after each engine start for single engine)
Anti Ice switches- verify correct position
Bleeds/AC
- packs auto
- eng bleeds on
For single engine taxi
Isolation valve- closed
APU Bleed- On
For dual engine taxi
Isolation valve- auto
APU Bleed- closed
Flaps Set- according to TPS
Verify LE Flaps Ext light on (green)
Before Takeoff
Trigger= load close out reviewed, both engines running, flaps set for Takeoff
Stab trim- Set
- Per FMS takeoff ref 1/2 CG
- stab trim set for correct units
- in green band
Flaps- Set with green light
T/O Data and Bugs- Check -TPS data= T/O thrust FMC N1 agree within .5% of TPS N1 V speeds/Eng out alt set Aircraft config- packs, anti ice, etc -Load close out data= FOB ZFW CG -FMS Data - update as necessary Reset thrust, bugs, flaps, stab trim or aircraft configuration if necessary
Air conditioning and bleeds- AUTO/Set
- Before takeoff checklist to line
- NOTE- FMS inputs and Bleed Air Control panel selections will affect N1 settings
Before Taking the Runway
Trigger= when approaching number 1 for takeoff
MCP/ND- Check Set for departure FMA shows ARM (for Autothrottle) FMA shows LNAV (as appropriate) VNAV is armed in pitch window Correct runway/lateral track on ND
Exterior lights- Set
Min takeoff fuel- Verify (above min T/O)
PM- After takeoff
Trigger= after flap/slat retraction
Gear- Up (no lights)
Flaps- Up (no lights)
Auto Brake- Off
Air/Packs/Bleeds- packs auto, bleeds on diff pressure increasing
Anti Ice- As required
APU- as required
Descent Flow
Trigger= passing FL180
Both Pilots Anti Ice- as required Terrain- as required (one pilot on TERR) Radios and Displays- set - ATIS/NOTAMs, naviads, vref, altimeter, minimums set, standby instruments set either APP for ILS or BCRS for back course or blank
PF specific
Autobrakes- verify set as briefed
FMS- verify gross weight and all CDU pages loaded
PM specific
Pressurization- check (verify land alt)
Recall- checked (prior to descent)
Descent checklist complete (silent)
Before Landing
Trigger= passing 10,00 AFL
PM - before landing checklist to Line
After landing
Trigger= aircraft clear of runway
After captain calls “flaps up”
Flaps - Up (no lights)
Stab Trim- set 5 units
Auto Brake- off
Flight directors- Off
Wx Radar- Off
Exterior lights- as required
Anti Ice- As required
Shutdown
Trigger= aircraft parked with brake set
On captains command-
Engine Start Levers- Cutoff
Transponder- STBY
Anti Collision Light- Off
Air Conditioning/Bleeds- set Packs - auto Isolation valve- open Eng bleeds- on APU bleed- as required (Packs off before pre conditioned air connected)
Window heat- Off
Probe heat- Auto
Anti Ice- Off
ELEC HYD Pumps- off
EMER EXIT Lights- off
Engine Start Switches- Auto
Eng oil/Hyd fluid/oxygen quantity - check
Arrival Report- Send via ACARS or radio
Flight deck Lights- Turn off or Dim as required
