Q

what is Azactam Unique advantage ?

A

Unique advantage is the absence of any cross-reactivity between aztreonam and circulating antibodies of PCN or cephalosporin allergic patients.

Can replace aminoglycosides (in treatment of gram-negatives) because it combines the activity of aminoglycosides with low toxicity of the beta-lactam antimicrobials
