Q

Speedbrakes extended, loss of DC power or loss of hydraulic power….(what happens with speed brakes)….

A
  • loss of DC power: safety valve opens, trapped fluid released and speed brakes blow in trail position
  • loss of hydraulic power: speedbrakes remain in extended position unless switch is placed in RETRACT position, the speedbrakes will trail with airflow
