2. Protects and covers ulnar nerve and artery

Radial Head: Superior half of anterior border of radius
I: Shafts of middle phalanges of medial four digits
N: Median Nerve C8, T1
A: 1. Flexes middle phalanges at proximal interphalangeal joints of middle four digits
2. Acting more strongly, it also flexes proximal phalanges at metacarpophalangeal joints
