How would dicrimination effect an individual?
It would effect them by the individual having a lower self-esteem about themselves on a personal level.
What would dicrination do to an individuals self-esteem?
The individual could have loss of sleep, effect on their mental health, loss of apitite, loss of confidence, anxiety, they could begin to isolate themselves, depression and they could lose friends and even family members.
What do all services need to do in order to protect a child?
All services need to have inspections about a child if they think something is happening. The services need to have communication between all of them in order to work together and do what is best fot the child and their needs. They all have to listen to the child and give the child in say.
What policies are set up and by who?
Policies are made by the government. Acts are made by the councils and policies are created by organistations. The codes of practice and policies then will go to senior managments which them the policies are followed by workers which results in a positive outcome. Bad care means breaking the law. Managments check if people are suitable for the job and they have payed their codes of practice and are following the legeslation.
What are support groups?
Support groups are members who provide each other with help people with issues and who people who need help.
Who are these support groups aimed at?
Support groups are aimed at people who are vunerable and need help with certian situations. The groups are made to help people who have problems with somewhere they work or if they live in a care home.
