Body composition
Proportion of total body weight of a person and the percentage of fat, lean muscle, and water
Muscle function
Determining length and tension in muscles. Assessing their behaviour pattern in basic movements.
Posture
Assessing the body alignment of the skeleton and joints to determine ideal function.
Cardiovascular endurance
Bodies ability to perform sustained physical exercise
Strength
Maximum amount of tension that a muscle can generate.
Will be able to lift greater weight over time.
Flexibility
Range of movement of a joint.
Muscular endurance
Capacity of muscles to apply and maintain strength in 2 ways
Exert force repeatedly : running
Isometric contraction: wall sit
Power
The ability to produce force over a short period of time
Speed
The ability of muscles to contract quickly
Agility
The ability to change direction quickly
Balance
A constant state of motion
Being either static or dynamic
Coordination
Placing or bringing together parts of the body in relation to other parts or associated objects
Reaction time
Time it takes for the reflexes to react to a stimulus
Movement time
Time taken for brain or reflexes to create a movement
