For consent to be valid it must be informed . The client must understand ; what’s done,how,who is doing it, outcome risks, side effects,other options
What is IMPLIED CONSENT?
Not expressively granted by a person but inferred from a persons actions, and the facts. And the circumstances to a particular situation (a persons silence)
Consent can be withdrawn at anytime

Moro (startle) reflex - infant gets startled by a loud noise it’s reflex is to the arms thrown apart the legs extend and head is back

What is independence?
The state of not relying on others for control or authority.
What is dependence?
The state of relying on others for support. Being unable to manage without help.
