Types of Recall

A

7 different recalls
1) Recall of augmentees
2) Communication Test Recall (only required to return to work during normal duty hours)
3) General Recall (All assigned/attached personnel will be contacted and accounted for)
4) Pyramid Recall (recall all affected personnel to duty location, no matter date, time, or circumstance)
5) Selective Recall (Select organizations will be recalled as directed by installation/Unit Commander)
6) Comm-out Recall (Commercial telephone system is unavailable for recall)
7) Telephone Standby (6 ring stand by and available for immediate recall)

Recall Procedures

A

1) When notified each individual will immediately contact the person below them
(if person cannot be reached contact next down)
2) Immediately report to HAFB, bldg. 35, SF HQ training room
(Unless directed otherwise)
3) If telephone stand-by last individual in chain will contact their flight chief/superintend and advise them on who was
and wasn’t contacted and how many
4) Obey civilian and military traffic lights
5) During increased FPCONs, enter bldg. 35 through the east side (rear) entrance
-Other doors will be closed
- ID checks will be conducted

Post Reporting

A

Posts will be reported to all Flight Seargeant’s, Flight Chiefs, E-7s and above
(If something was to happen at the command post call the commander using the telephone inside gate shack so that they can take over)

Challenging Techniques

A
  • Notify BDOC using the SALUTE/SALT report
  • Prior to initiating challenge, utilize and available cover
  • Bring M4 to low ready/M18 to ready pistol
  • Never use foul language
  • Suspects placed in the final challenge position, facing away from PL resources
  • Ask subject for placement of identification instruct to grab it and place slowly on the ground 6 paces away
  • contact BDOC, giving the persons info
    (if cannot be verified detain subject, if positive identification terminate challenge and contact BDOC for further
    instructions)

A

A

DEFINITON: Pursuit by LE officer (with/without) warrant for prevent escape of someone who committed a serious crime
PROCEDURES
- Block inbound and outbound traffic closing gate or putting barriers up (or GOV if necessary)
- If POVS are trapped in lanes and are at risk instruct passengers to step out of vehicle and move to safety
- Do everything possible without using the use of force
- Don’t attempt to stop person if they can you, others, or themselves

  • instruct individual to take keys out of ignition and hand them to you

A
  • Immediately shut down outbound traffic

  • Conduct a 360 walk-around and trunk check the vehicles

  • Immediately close all entry points and raise all barriers

  • Have drivers in POVs lock their doors and take cover
  • Follow hostage taker and relay description and direction to BDOC
  • Never try to ram vehicle
  • If vehicle stops create a cordon and wait for further instructions

A

A temporary controlled area that commander has option of declaring around sensitive and critical assets to contain and secure Fed Gov resources

Confiscated Identification Credentials

A
  • Confiscate IDs when they are no longer serviceable, expired, or terminated
  • If expired make sure individual still has base access prior to issuing self pass
  • Individual will be given a confiscated ID card memo
  • And will be directed to the welcome center during duty hours
  • If after duty day hours issue a short-term self-pass or have them get a sponsor
  • Members issue memo to the 49th force support squadron

  • Seize all credentials via DD FM 2817 when used in a fraudulent manner, possessed unlawfully, or associated with crime/offense
  • Credential will be secured in evidence locker

A

Conducted when individual without base access attempts to get on the installation

Controlled Turn Around Procedures

A
  • Obtain identification
  • Instruct driver to go to the far right of traffic and wait for SF
  • Two personnel will approach the vehicle and complete AF FM 3907 listing all occupants in the vehicle
  • One making contact with the vehicle the other being overwatch
  • Contact BDOC and provide detailed description of make, model, color, and number of occupants with detailed
    description of each
  • Get all identification along with proof of insurance and registration
  • Don’t allow them to exit the vehicle and watch movements
  • If any time occupants seem suspicious notify BDOC for further guidance
  • Cite if there is an issue with insurance or registration
  • Instruct driver to make a U-turn maintain positive control of vehicle
  • Once completed return ID and once out of view notify BDOC
