When you arrive on scene and you use AVPU, WTF does AVPU mean?

Secondary Assessment, (non life threating injuries) what do you use?

If you suspect a Head, Neck or Spine injury and the guy’s airway is closed, what do you use to open the airway?
Jaw Thrust Maneuver
If A Persons airway is closed and you do not suspect a Head, Neck or Spine injury, what do you use to open the airway?
Head Tilt Chin Lift
What is a First Responder?
First Medically trained person on scene?
As hypothermia goes on, what happens to a person?
They STOP shivering, as their body is way too fucking cold and the bodies basic function stops
If a Person’s heat is way too high (Head Exhaustion) what happens to the persons body?
The Peron STOPS Sweating, basic body functions start to fail
What do you use for an Anaphylactic shock?
EPI-PEN, remember an Anaphylactic shock has a very rapid onset
What is the Good Samaritan Law?
Protect individuals who, in good faith, provide reasonable assistance to someone injured or in peril during an emergency, shielding them from civil liability for unintentional harm or injuries that may occur during the course of their assistance
What are burns classified as?
The Depth of the burn
What is a Third Degree burn?
Full Thickness burn, at this point the persons skin is Fried, person does not feel the pain from that particular area as their pain receptors are burned off
What is a Second Degree burn?
A Partial Thickness burn, that damages the full point of the epidermis, and damages the Dermis at this point it is still painful and could be swollen or painful, blistered
What is a First Degree burn?
A superficial burn, that affects only the Epidermis, could appear red painful and dry
