- Society is governed by laws
- A students, the law determines when we leave school
- Law impacts when you can drive, renting apartments, and its everywhere in our lives
What is an example of how each generation affects laws?
- Politicians putting more priority on Environmental Laws and correcting injustices of the past (ex, Residential Schools)

What is the difference between Rules and Laws?
Rules are not enforced by courts while Laws are. All Laws are rules but not all rules are Laws.

What is the Rule of Law’s 3-part principle of justice?
1) Rule of law means that individuals must recognize and accept that the law is necessary to regulate society
2) Rule of law means that the law applies to everyone equally, including those in power
3) Rule of law means that no one has the authority to take away our rights, except i accordance to the law
