Break Turn Exercise/ accelerated stall

A

1) MAX AB turn, 5.5 G near SRB
set airspeed to 400-420. Note LV req’d
* simulates normal rate fight

2) once in the turn, raise LV and cnx AB for 2 sec
maintain moderate buffett
approaching 380, relax backstick to keep mod buffett
*simulates “tighten down” to get greater turn rate and smaller radius

3) keep increasing backstick until nose track decreases (will happen at 380)
notice nose stops tracking, buffett is reduced
recover: reduce backstick until max nose track and mod buffett re-established
*this os how you recover from stalls

A

3 mile scope on egi- line just outside circle
220 rolled out inside downwind
fly over white tend
if you’re steep you have to wait longer to shift the aim point
shack speed in final turn - correct ASAP once aligned with runway but don’t be idle too early.
