Describe the fire protection system for the forward and aft lower cargo compartments?
There are four fire extinguisher bottles for the forward and aft cargo compartments. Two discharged immediately, the other two after a brief delay or upon touchdown.

Describe the engine/fire overheat detection system?
Dual loop fire detector and a
Dual loop overheat detector installed in each engine.
Describe the APU Fire/Overheat detection system?
A dual loop fire detector is installed in the APU compartment.
Describe the Cargo Compartment Fire Detection System?
Forward and aft lower cargo compartments have four dual loop detectors. The main deck has 16 dual loop detectors.
Sample air form throughout each compartment is drawn through the detectors by the centre bleed air duct.
What happens if a fault occurs in one loop upon completion of any fire and overheat fault test?
Systems with a fault in one loop reconfigure for single loop operation.
What fire detection system is provided in the wheel wells?
Each main gear well has a single loop fire detector.
Is there smoke detection provided for the Crew Rest areas?
Yes.
Describe the Lavatory Smoke detection/protection system?
Smoke detectors are installed in the lavatories. An automatic fire extinguisher is located in the waste compartment.
