Carbon Monoxide Activation
if CP is not experiencing any physical problems adv them to exit the structure. ONG should be contacted.
if CP is experiencing shortness of breath, headache, dizziness, tingling feeling, or other signs of carbon monoxide poisoning transfer them to AMR and gather:
- # of PTs
- age of PTs
- is PT A/C/B
- general symptoms

citizen may call about an unsupervised burning to see if it is in a controlled burn area

determine what had been on fire and if CP is sure the fire is out. if CP is unsure if its still burning then respond w/ appropriate units for OG fire classification (grass fire, structure fire, etc.)

- is chemical type known; are there placards available to assist in IDing the substance
- how large is the spill
- any injuries related to the spill, and if so, notify AMR

- any additional trauma or disability
- PT age
IN WATER
- confirmed PT is in water
- exact location where PT was last seen
- location for PTs point of entry into the water
-any known trauma or disability
- PT age
- was PT under the influence of drugs / alcohol
- clothing type and color

Drowning - Closed Water
(swimming pools, bath tubs, smaller ponds, shallow creeks)
gather:
- what type of drowning (open/closed)
- exact location
- is PT out or in the water
OUT WATER
- PT conscious
- if unconscious, are resuscitation efforts being made
- how long was the PT in the water
- any additional trauma or disability
- PT age
IN WATER
- is there any way someone can make an immediate rescue w/o endangering their life while units are responding
- is PT visible

Dumpster Fire
usually in large garbage receptacle, gather the following:
- exact location of the dumpster
- is the dumpster close to any structures
- how did the fire start
- does CP know if the dumpster contains any flammable materials
**if dumpster is touching the building, treat this like a structure fire
