a special device that sprays out a substance to put out fires. It’s like a superhero gadget that helps us stop small fires from spreading and keeps us safe.

a special water source found on the streets. It is important not to block access to a fire hydrant.

connects to hydrants to get water quickly. It’s like a giant water faucet that helps them put out fires faster and save lives

They make a loud noise to alert us if there is smoke or fire.
Alarms
are practice exercises to help us learn what to do in case of a fire. We practice exiting the building calmly and going to a safe meeting place. Fire drills prepare us to stay safe in real emergencies.
