How are engines and APU supplied with fire detection?

Answer 1

Two gas filled loops in each.
Will set off a warning if both detect fire
One detects fire and the other is inop
Both break within 5 seconds
If the fire goes out the warnings will stop

What happens when the Engine fire Bp is pressed?

Answer 2

1.Removes power from the FADEC
2. Silences the CRC
3. Arms the squibs
4. Closes the HYD fire SOV
5. Closes the LP fuel valve
6. Deactivates the IDG
7. Closes the Engine bleed valve
8. Closes the Pack flow control valve

Question 3

What do you look for when pressing the engine fire test push button

Answer 3

1. CRC
2. Engine fire Pb lights up
3. Squib and Disch lights
4. Master warning lights flash
5. Engine fire warning on ECAM
   -ENG 1 Fire appears on left side with checklist
   -ENG 2 Fire appears tittle only
6. Fire lights by the engine master switches
   Total of 12 lights (including the 2 ECAM) and CRC
