Q

What is the normal ?

A

An imaginary line that leaves the surface of a mirror at right angles . It is used as a reference line when describing rays coming to and from mirrors

Q

What is the difference between angle of incidence and angle of reflection ?

13
Q

How do sound travel ?

A

When object vibrates particles beside it vibrate , movement energy is passed on from one particle to another , when vibration reach you ear they turn into electrical messages , they are sent to brain and brain detects these sounds

15
Q

Why can’t sound be transferred in vacuum ?

A

Because there are no particles

16
Q

What does hertz or Hz measure ?

A

The vibrations per second

17
Q

How do we hear ?

A

Sound waves enter ear , ear drum vibrates this causes ossicles to vibrate as well , a fluid in the cochlea begins to vibrate and little hairs inside the cochlea sway to the vibration . These hairs produce electrical signals which travel through nerve to the brain . And the brain interprets signals as sound

18
Q

What are the three ossicles called ?

A

Hammer , anvil and stirrup
