Q

Explain why the theory of evolution is rooted in faith, not facts.

A

Just like any other belief about the origin of the universe, faith is required. To quote Stephen Jay Gould, “Facts do not ‘speak for themselves’; they are read in light of a theory. The evolutionary faith is a clear attempt to flee from any type of God.

Q

Why should a biblical Christian study the stars?

A

There are many reasons we should study the stars. First, they speak to us concerning the attributes and purposes of their Creator (Romans 1:20-21). Second, many great men of faith also studied them. Lastly, they are symbols that reveal the word concerning Christ and the word concerning the heavenly hosts.
