Yes. The formal name is cerebrovascular disease. it’s a disease that affects blood vessels going to the brain

Buildup of plaque (fatty material in the inner linings of arteries
Arteries are less flexible and more narrow
The journey of atherosclerosis through the life cycle
Starts in childhood, it’s a slow progressive disease, because of poor lifestyle habits or genetics it starts lays down habits but it still looks fine
In late childhood/adolescents, fatty streaks start developing
20s-30s it becomes more fibrous
After that something more serious may happen (ex. heart attack) where the person is diagnosed with CVD
