Bipolar

Euthymic
Depressive disorder that is severe, acute and often short/moderate-term; can be single episode or recurrent
Major Depressive D/O
Depressive disorder that is mild/moderate and chronic, more than 2 years continuously.
Dysthymic D/O (Aka Persistent Depressive D/O)
Mood disorder that is severe, acute, short-term and disruptive and must include at least 1 full manic episode
Bipolar I
Mood disorder that is moderate and short-term. Must never have had a full manic episode, has had 1 or more hypomanic episodes and a major depressive episode as well
Bipolar II
Mood disorder that is mild/moderate and chronic. Same as dysthymic with intermittent hypomania
