Their view (2 Pet. 3:12-14): They draw a distinction between where the righteous, the holy and the wicked dwell.

Their view (Rev. 22:10-12): Holy is those that have full salvation and will inherit the new heavens. The righteous are the Christian believers through the ages that will inherit the new earth. The wicked are the lost.

Biblical view (2 Pet. 3:12-14): It’s “wherein” or “in which righteousness dwells”. It’s about where Gods righteousness rules & reigns, not “the righteous”

Biblical view (Rev. 22:10-12): If you don’t quickly become righteous & holy, then they will soon have no choice but to remain filthy & unjust forever… and face the consequences.

“Restoration” view: It was lost then slowly restored to fullness. Believed God only judged them on the light they already had.

“Remnant” view: There’s always been a faithful people, a true Apostolic church.

Scriptural refutation: Jesus said the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church (Matt 16:18).
Is the fruit of the Spirit just neat Christian living?
No.
What did God do to Israel because they did not produce the right fruit?
Allowed the enemy to take them away into exile.
What are the earmarks of the Kingdom?
Fruit of the Spirit.
Why should we not live according to the flesh?
All of its works will be destroyed.
Why was Jesus manifest in the flesh?
To destroy the works of the devil.
What are the gifts not a sign of and discuss why that often surprises us?
It is not a sign of spirituality. It surprises us because we assume power in the gifts is fruit of the spirit.
