Q

What are the indications of the multifidi?

A

-spinous rotation
-will be active on opposite side of spinous rotation

Ex: if T5 SP is rotated to the L, then the R multifidi is active

Q

What are the indications of the serratus posterior inferior?

A

spinous rotation on opposite side

Can be bilateral (potentially means posterior rotation)

note: this muscle helps with exhalation and patients with history of breathing problems like asthma or COPD, this muscle is extra developed, not necessarily tense

16
Q

What are the indications of the sacroiliac ligament?

A

If active on the top half of SI joint= PI ilium

If active on the bottom half of SI joint= AS ilium

If the ilium goes EX, or if sacrum rotates posterior = ligaments throughout joint are active

17
Q

What are the attachments of the sacrospinous ligament?

A

Sacral notch to ischial spine

18
Q

What are the indications of the sacrospinous ligament?

A

Inferior sacrum on the same side

19
Q

What are the attachments of the sacrotuberous ligament?

A

Sacrum to ischial tuberosity

20
Q

What are the indications of the sacrotuberous ligament?

A

PI ilium or Inferior sacrum
