White light is made up of RGB, red, blue and green.

What happens if white light goes through a green filter?
A
White is obviously made up of RGB, and the green filter only Reflects GREEN and ABSORBS red and blue, so the white light would then become a green light

What happens if a red light shines on a Blue ball?
A
The blue ball only reflects blue and absorbs red and green, if the red light is shining on it, the ball would be black, because there is no blue for the ball to reflect.
