  • our own judgement = subjective

- only done in one street per area = not representative

A
  • asked 10 people about how safe they felt, how good the area is, how healthy they felt
  • quantitative because it generated numbers
  • qualitative because people gave their opinions

A
  • only asked 10 / 1000s = not representative

- only went one day in the middle of the week = not seeing a wide range of people

  • shown in secondary data (79% a*-c)
  • questionnaire scored highest in clifton
  • primary data said LW had worse crime rate
  • secondary data said centre had worst crime rate
  • because centre is more popular at night = large number of people

  • largely accurate
  • primary results were supported by secondary results
  • census and ES suggested clifton had best QOL
  • primary methods were largely reliable but had issues
  • ES was our opinion = subjective (improved through class average)
  • only asked 10 in questionnaire
  • secondary data was out of date
  • mostly accurate but some improvements could be made by returning to the site on separate days
