Clinometer was useful as the beach had uneven variations in the gradient, the clinometer allowed us to take readings for different angles of the gradient of the beach
what is one possible source of error for beach profile
The ranging poles may have sank into the sand this may have given improper measurements
How does a geology map help our fieldwork
The geology map helped ensure that we chose appropriate sites to study (1) because it gave information about where different types of geology were located (1).
