Field of Interactive Experiences Flashcards
What are the main characteristics in this field?
words ( type )
Visual representations ( icons to supplement words)
Physical objects ( hardware / device)
Time ( motion, animation, feedback
Behaviour ( gestures when using the interactive experience)

Printing – this is used at the end of the design – this could be to share designs with the client and other stakeholders at the end of the design process
Prototyping - low fidelity wireframes in the develop stage compared to high fidelity wireframes in the delver stage
Collage – this can be manual or digital
Photography – this can be to use imagery for the final design that doesn’t impose on copyright

Interaction design
Prototyping tools – test the usability of designs and gather feedback from users
Animation tools – used to create animations and transitions that help guide the user through interface
Code editors – create or edit designs
Collaboration tool – used by designers to work with team members and client for feedback
