A
Central pain sensitivity SYNDROME - widespread pain and tenderness in which sensory processing systems are altered –> allodynia (pain on normal touch) and hyperalgesia

- mood disorders
- fatigue
- sleep disturbance
- cognitive dysfunction
FIBROMYALGIA does NOT cause any abnormalities on physical exam, bloods or imaging

Education
Non-pharmacotherapy (KEY):
- regular aerobic exercise (PHYSIO)
- CBT
Pharmacotherapy:
- SNRIs (duloxetine)
- Pregabalin
- TCAs (amitriptyline)
