- Blood PV
- Mass in the uterus
- Adnexal tenderness

A
Report back with SSPMT
To finish the exam i would like to an abdomial exam and also do the smears and swabs if not already done
By the bed - History, obs
Bloods - FBC, CA125, PREGNANCY TEST, tfts
Other - US
If >40 outpatient endometrial biopsy

A
May be anaemia
US shows fibroids

What is the treatment?
A
Conservative - Exaplain what it is and that it isnt caner
Medical - Coil, tranxemic acid, COCP, GNRH analogues
Surgical - myomectomy, hysterectomy, uterine artery embolization

What are the risk factors?
A
Afro carribean
High oestrogen states eg obesity, early menarche,late menopause
