King was considered to be chosen by God to gobern society and defend the Christianity.

The church validated the king’s power in a coronation ceremony.

The king owned the kingdom and he could divide or unite it.

Borders changed frequently because kingdom was divided for nobles and princes or some new territories were incorporated.

There were 3 main and exclusive powers for the king:
- Collect taxes.
- Direct army.
- Be a supreme judges.

Also he shaved power whit nobles or the clergy in government tasks. They formed the royal council.

The king had no permanent resistance: to move among different cities whit his court (councillors,family and serputs)
