When does fertilisation occur?
Fertilisation occurs when the nucleus from the sperm joins with the nucleus from the egg.
What is fertilisation?
Fertilisation is when the head of one sperm gets into the egg and the male nucleus fuses with the female nucleus.
How many chromosomes from the male and female does the fertilised egg now have?
23 chromosomes from the male and 23 chromosomes from the female.
Describe the journey of the sperm to the egg in 4 steps.
