A
Bone of the thigh region of the lower limb.
Distal to the pelvic region, proximal to the tibia and fibula.
Attached to the innominate bone at the acetabulum/hip joint and the tibia and patella at the knee joint.

Long bone.
Makes up approximately 1/4 of a person’s height.
