-Religion maintains patriarchy by portraying male domination over women
-There cannot be equality in religion until there is acceptance that God could be a woman

-Second class believers
-Religion tricks women into believing that they are equal to men in the eyes of God and will be rewarded for their suffering
-Girls are socialised into worshipping a male God and therefore see men as superior

-Women aren’t allowed to read from sacred texts or touch them if they are menstruating

-She studied the CofE and found that SGC meant that women are blocked from progressing to the top of the hierarchy
