Believe that ignorance and socialisation causes gender inequality

Drastic and revolutionary change is not the best way to achieve gender equality

They view oppression of women as most important form of oppression.
It is a movement intent on rapid + extensive social change, calls for radical reordering of society

Rape,violence + pornography - view these as methods where men have obtained power over women

They combine both capitalism and gender inequality, believe women are expolited by Capitalism and gender inequality, labour + housework

focus on how different identities overlap with gender and interact with gender, include many groups of feminists such as woc, they all argue we cannot understand gendered relations without understanding class,age and ethnicity

assumes women are passive - lack agency to be able to make own decisions

Overly negative. Ignores positive changes that have happened to gender relations over the years
