Where is the U. S Insignia placed
Centered on the right collar: 5/8 inch from the bottom edge of the disk to the notch. Also parallel with the edge of the lapel.
What is the notch?
The seam between the collar and the lapel.
Where is the Name plate?
Worn 1-2 inches above the top button of coat and centered horizontally.
Where is the branch insignia placed?
Same as the U.S insignia but on the left side.
Where are the Service Ribbons?
Centered on the left side bottom edge aligned with the bottom edge of name plate
Where is the Marksmanship badge?
Centered below the ribbons by 1/4 inch with the appropriate clasp.
How is the belt worn?
Brass tip will pass through the buckle to the right side.
Only the brass tip can be visible. No extra belt, cloth or openings can be shown.
How should the shirts be worn?
Tucked into trousers centered with seam of zipper.
What is the seam of the zipper called?
The “gig line”.
