The beginning of secondary sexual characteristics to form such as the development of breasts, widening of hips, and increase of fat tissue.

Egg cells are produced in the ovaries
What is the length of the menstrual cycle?
23-35 days but it typically lasts around 28 days.
What are the three phases of the menstrual cycle?
The flow, the follicular, and the luteal.
What is the flow phase?
The shedding of blood, tissue, mucus, and epithelial cells from the endometrium - The tissue that lines the uterus.
What is the follicular phase?
The stage when follicles begin to mature in the ovary.
