Actinic keratosis
sun damaged skin (face arm, dorsum of hands)
<1cm
excessive keratin forming cutaneous horn
thinning of epidermis
hyperkeratosis, dyskeratosis, parakeratosis, elastosis
Hyperkeratosis, enlarged nuclei, keratin pearls, intercellular bridges, long time sun exposed skin
SCC
palisading, resemble basal layer of epidermis, ulcerating lesions, pearly nodules w/ telangiectasia
MC invasive cancer in humans, locally aggressive
+ Hedgehog mutation (mutated PTCH) (active SMO)
