Describe the protocol for giving kitten vaccines:
A
FVR (Herpesvirus), C(Calicivirus) and P(Panleukopenia virus) - injectable or intranasal vaccines are available:
- Early as 6 weeks → every 3-4 till 16 weeks OR after 16 weeks 2x but 3-4 weeks apart
- Booster 1y after initial dose
- Every 3 years after that
Rabies (injectable or transdermal):
- Once @ 12 weeks → booster 1 y later
- Every 1 or 3 years after that depending on the product

- 8 weeks → 3-4 weeks later → @ 1 y
- Doesn’t cause a positive FeLV result
