Regulates main ethylene flow to reactor. Normally set in ratio to HCl feed flow, to maintain feed stoichiometry, and control excess ethylene in recycle gas.

Oxy Main Ethylene Flow Controller
Regulates trim ethylene flow. Normally a fixed flow approx 500 scfm to give main feed valve room to control.

Oxy Trim Ethylene Flow Controller
Regulates main O2 feed to reactor. Normally set in ratio to HCl flow to maintain feed stoichiometry and control excess O2 in recycle gas.

Oxy Main O2 Flow Controller
Regulates O2 trim feed flow to reactor. Usually with a set flow of 300 scfms to give main feed valve room to operate.

Oxy O2 Trim Flow Controller
Regulates recycle gas flow to reactor. Normally runs 10,000-15,000 scfm to control superficial velocity depending on rates.

Regulates H2 flow to hydrogenator.

Hydrogen Flow Controller
Regulates purge nitrogen flow during recycle gas compressor trip. Normally throttled in field to approx 1600 scfm.

Prevents over pressure of HCl header, by venting to MTK-695.

Regulates Oxy HCl feed pressure approx 85 psi to aid in accurate feed flow.
